Hi everyone! It’s Jessica here today with some of my go-to tricks to get my stories documented quickly when I’m short on time. This week is very special to me because not only is it Valentine’s day, I’m also celebrating my first wedding anniversary. To capture this week, I’m using the beautiful L’amour Collection coming to Sahin Designs’ store this Friday. The colors are so beautiful and romantic that I couldn’t think of a better kit to use.
Here are my go-to tricks to quickly create beautiful layouts for my memories.
1.Take advantage of filler cards
Don’t be afraid to utilize the filler cards in the kit, especially if you want to keep your journaling to a minimum. They are beautiful on their own and don’t require anything additional when time is of the essence.
2. Use a full-page or blown up photo
Choose your favorite photo and enlarge it to fill an entire page or multiple pockets. This not only showcases your best work, but also makes the layout feel put together with little effort.
3. Keep embellishments to a minimum
I love embellishments as much as the next person, but using a ton of them can really take some time. I chose a couple of my favorites (which always include labels!), layer together, then staple for a finished look.
