Hello everyone, Erica here with a mini book tutorial for all of you foodies. If you are a photo lover like I am, mini books are a great way of showing off all the photos which don’t fit in your pocket scrapbook album. Since I’m documenting all of the good food I’ve eaten, I am using the Table for Two collection.

How to assemble the album

The book itself is only 3×4 inch so its easily stored and portable if necessary. I cut a thin strip of flexible cardboard to match the length of the book, then I glued the each card to the strip, leaving a small space between each so I could easily fold the book.

Because space is limited, I can focus less on journaling and more on the photos themselves. I used a lot of the digital elements to express my feelings or memories about the photo. Or I add a small sentence or 2 on the card for a personal touch.

Another way of adding something to your mini book is using digital stamps on your photos or collection papers. I used the “Ways to my heart” stamp to create a filler card and used the “Eat” stamp for my cover.

Now you can start to get really creative by cutting up various filler cards and elements to create mini layouts.

I love creating mini books because it gives me something creative to do when I’m having a slow month and they are such quick and easy projects to complete.

    1. Hi Dondi – the book itself is only 3×4 so its easily stored and portable if necessary. How I assembled the book is by cutting a thin strip of flexible cardboard to match the length of the book, then I glued the each card to the strip, leaving a small space between each so I could easily fold the book. Hopefully those instructions made sense, if not let me know!

      Thanks!
