Hey, I’m Julia and I just wanted to jump in to show you a quick and easy way to make a greeting card right from digital scrapbook papers and elements.

All you need is a blank greeting card (I bought mine at a local stationary shop), a few digital elements printed on thicker paper (mine is presentation paper), foam dots and some tiny glittery embellishments.

I designed the red background for my card in a cutting machine program. It’s slightly smaller than the card. And I outlined the wreath and took the inner circle to create a cut out on the red background. So I have exactly the same shape to put it above each other as you can see in one of my next steps. Also, print and cut a small embellishment.

Starting to layer all the things… The red background looks misshaped in this step. But trust me, putting the wreath on top of it will make it! I like to work with foam dots or tape to add some dimension. And I put the “HO HO HO HO” underneath it and it sticks.

Last step: all the glitter :-). I like to work in groups and in the shape of a triangle. I love that these little glittery dots give some sparkle but not too much.

So for now, I´m back at my desk, I have to make 29 more of them.
