Hello everyone! Hope you are having a good week thus far! Today I’m sharing some ideas to document your week even if you don’t go out much or participate in many activities.
These days, as my schedule for my day job gets more hectic, I have fewer activities, and life gets more ‘mundane’ and repetitive. If you have been following my Project Life, I often include at least one insert for each week spread, and sometimes one day to a spread. So I’m very used to working with lots of photos. Since it hasn’t been the case for me, so it got me thinking; How can I fill up these ten 4×3 pockets and four 4×6 pockets?
1. Include a screenshot your favourite song playing on your favourite music app
Here I included a screenshot of a song I’m addicted to this week. I feel that such screenshot is very ‘informative’ because when I look back at my scrapbook next year perhaps, I will be able to tell ‘Oh back then I was listening to such a happy/sad song, it must be a fulfilling/tough week for me’ etc. Also, some of the album graphics are just so pretty to scrapbook too! *Geometrics!*
2. Include a photo of your computer screen
It can be a computer game you have been playing or a certain drama that you are addicted to watching. As we spent a large chunk of our time online, I think it makes sense to include our online activities in our scrapbook as well. Here I had included screenshots of music video and music program that I had been watching. I also jotted down what these screenshots means to me.
3. Include some ephemera
Be it a post-it note from your college, or a coffee sleeve from your office cafeteria, or the business card of a cafe where you grab your morning cuppa, it’s always nice to include some memorabilia in our Project Life spread. Here I included a card from a cafe that includes the coffee tasting notes of a special coffee I bought. I had made it a habit of asking for a business card from all the restaurants and cafes I visit, so much so that my friends make sure I get one even when I forget!
