Today I wanted to share with you a fun traveler’s notebook spread to encourage you to document yourself when it comes to the new season.
Right now, in my area, the season is slowly changing to fall and I love capturing all different aspects of fall. My children,
nature, activities, traditions and myself. I think its important to tell your story and document something you love about fall
is a perfect place to start.
I used Elif Sahin Design’s Golden Days collection to put together this traveler’s notebook spread. I knew it would be perfect to capture a favorite part of fall for me- going to a local area called Apple Hill. It is an area with a bunch of different
farms that have all the best fall activities. For this day we picked apples and my family had the best time.
I made sure my hubby snapped some photos of me trying out the apple picker tool. Don’t forgot to pass the camera to someone else who can take a photo of you.
For my main photo I used 2 journaling cards as layers behind it plus an additional piece of paper. I then added in another
banner and lots of different elements to the corners of the photo.
I included this wonderful circle that says ‘my favorite pair of boots’ at the bottom and then added in a tag and brad to
make a small cluster. I created a section in the middle with the green tag clipped to it 3 times and then pop dotted a banner. The Golden Days kit had lots of pieces that help tell the stories of fall.
And here is the finished traveler’s notebook page.
I also want to give you some ideas on documenting your story when it comes to fall. Here is a some ideas to capture yourself
and then scrap about it!
- A whole page about your favorite fall clothes
- Your favorite tv shows or movies
- Your favorite seasonal treat
- How you decorate your house in the fall
- Where you like to go in the fall
- Books you enjoying reading
I hope my page and ideas inspire to tell your story or stories in the new season.
Once you have a chance to read the article I’d love to hear your thoughts on the topic in the comments section below.
