Hi everyone! Jessica here today with some pocket page inspiration using the gorgeous Fête collection. We took some family pictures on New Years Eve and went to a nice dinner, so I knew I wanted to use the new collection to document that evening.
One of the first things I do with a new kit is asses all the cards. Since my photos are very heavy (lots of dark colors), I wanted to stick to a lighter color scheme. I chose two 3×4 cards and one 4×6. I also did a bit of journaling to capture where we went that evening.
Next, I pick out my favorite embellishments and cut them out using my silhouette. I also try to keep color schemes in mind. I liked the slight pop of red in the champagne glass, so I knew I needed at least one other red embellishment. When I saw this banner, I knew it would be perfect for the right side.
Finally, I assemble everything using glue and my tiny attacher. I used the banner embellishments to give the cards some additional context to the story and the heart on the right side was just too cute not to include.
That’s it! I hope you enjoyed this spread using the new collection! If you have a New Year’s celebration to document, make sure you check out Fête.
