This time of year is always so exciting for me. It is so much fun to get outside after a long Canadian winter indoors that even cool spring days are welcome around here! In that spirit, I’m here to give you some product inspiration today!
I used the Rooted collection to document our start on spring, and even if you aren’t a gardener, there are a lot of great elements in the collection. When I have a collection that works so well with my photos, I often leave the embellishments to a minimum in order to let the designs shine.
A few small yellow chipboard pieces to bring a bit of color into the very green/brown scheme worked extremely well here. I also felt that the design lacked definition, the black elements on the cards were very small, so I used this bold black alpha sticker to anchor the pages. I always find this best to do in groups of 3, but was stuck with finding a good spot for the 3rd word, so I kept it at two.
There are so many great themed collections in the shop, consider taking a few photos based on one of the themes and see what comes out! I’ll bet you can find more than one collection in the shop that speaks to your hobbies!
