Hello everyone, Erica here with a fun way to document the books from your reading list. Reading is a long time hobby of mine but after college I took a much needed break from it. Since I’ve started to read for fun again and think this would be a great on-going side project. I want to keep this a very simple and easy to do project so I will be using a 4×4 album and the Bookmark collection from Sahin Designs.
To begin, I printed off 3×4 photos of the book covers and 4×4 journaling cards from the collection.
On each of the journaling cards, I added labels to the corners so I can stamp the date. I also added some stars to the bottom to rate each of the books.
To add a little bit of “fun” to the book, I am throwing in some photos I have from my stash that are book related and some other filler cards.
I decided to have my book cover photo on the left and my review on the right. In between each book review, I have placed a filler card and a random photo to break things up.
Once everything is set the way you like, go ahead and start adding dates, stamps, elements, and most importantly, the review of the book. A great tip for creating neat looking pocket page layouts is to tape the cards and/or photos together. That way they don’t slip around in the pocket and everything looks “perfect.”
Hope you all enjoyed my book and that it inspires you to do something similar!
