I usually change the decoration of my house each new season. It’s so much fun to get in the mood for summer by swapping the cushion cover and adding new frames on the walls. I find that frames are perfect to give the final touch to my home sweet home.
That’s why I suggest you to use digital elements to create a decoration that looks like you. I chose the Travelogue collection to decorate my home this summer. This collection perfectly matches the travel pictures pinned on my wall. And it is very easy to find the theme of your choice through the categories available in the shop (shop by season or by themes).
Here are two ways to use your digital elements in your frames.
Cut shapes to create new elements
Play with the different elements to create a composition to put in a frame. For example you can cut circles (or stars, hearts, butterflies…) from different patterned papers and stick several embellishments to them. With the printed papers from your digital pack you can also use your cutting machine.
Simply use the card or paper elements
Another way to use digital elements is to directly use the cards or the papers. I resize them to make the bottom of the illustration: it is simple and fast. Especially when cards are available in different orientations (horizontal, vertical or square) and everything is harmonious in the same collection.
Then I add an element out of the frame to give relief and a touch of fantasy : I used 3D self-adhesive foam squares behind the little flowers. They seem to fly away.
Then you just have to find the perfect location for your creation. Feel free to vary the dimensions or the color of the frames to bring a different look to your wall.
I’m sure these two examples of decoration will inspire you. So do not hesitate, select your favorite summer collection, the photo serie that reminds you of beautiful memories, an amazing frame and go. Have fun and decorate your home!
