One of the things I love about scrapbooking is that it allows me to recall memories and faces that I started to forget. This Sunday is Father’s Day. It is very sentimental for me since I lost my father seven years ago. So I don’t have something special to gift my father but rather I am giving myself some time to remember him, remember how he used to talk, how he smiles, our memories together and all that stuff.
At the very beginning of June I scrapped an old photograph of my father and grandma. I didn’t even born at the time that photo has taken but I thought that I should include something about my father in my yearly album. What I’ve written as journal is not necessarily what happened at that time but just my thoughts and feelings about the photo. This is what I do when a photo has no story that I know. It’s a great way to add something personal to the scrapbook page.
But I don’t only want to tell about my layout in this article.
