Hello all, it’s Pepper here and I am back from my short trip to Australia ! I’m just getting back into my daily routine in life again and I can’t wait to start scrapbooking after the long hiatus!

Well, it’s not exactly a hiatus per say as I did bring along some scrappy products with me; some labels, journaling cards, washi tapes, stamps and a travelers notebook. I was positive I will have time to scrapbook but in the end, I was overwhelmed with the schedule. I instead choose to put it aside and be in the moment and spend more time my friends over there.

Of course, I still kept my journaling in my Evernote. Everyday, I diligently typed out the things that happened and my feelings of encounters. So now that I’m back, those journaling acts as an easy reference for my scrapbooking now!

Here I share 2 pages done using Fearless Kit, Fearless Card and Special Day paper.

The fun about scrapbooking in the Traveler’s notebook is that it’s basically a blank canvas for you to do anything with. Often, a 3×4 journaling card and a Polaroid photo will be sufficient to fill one page. Adding a title, label and some washi tapes ~voila you are done! Write some journaling to give it a collage look or type on your journaling cards with a typewriter for a more vintage look that matches with the Polaroid. My other favorite supplies include date stamps and other roller stamps. They add finishing touches to your entire layout.

It will also be fun to experiment with the orientation of the book. That way you can also add a 4×6 journaling card. Just keep in mind that the width of traveler’s notebook is 4.33 inches. You don’t want to include anything wider than that. This is also a simple way to use up your supplies. Frankly speaking, these cards and labels are extras from what I printed for Project Life and accumulated over the year.

Below are some close ups of my project.
