Hi everyone! I’m back today with a layout created with one of my favorite collections ever by Sahin Designs, called Fearless. This collection features not only soft colors and beautiful elements, which I love, but also a series of powerful and encouraging words that can be used in a variety of ways. They can become prompts to inspire your journaling, reminders in your planner, even a home decor piece or, like in my case, the focus of a scrapbook page.
As often happens, my inspiration came from one of the project life cards, whose words became eventually the title of my layout.
The more I looked at it, the more I wanted to focus my attention on one of the words: worth. How powerful can a word be? My family, our kids, the happy moments and the sad, our everyday life are absolutely worth remembering and documenting. I thought the best way to make the word stand out was to choose a bold color and give it a different texture by stitching it on my page instead of cutting it out. The dark grey thread also coordinates with the black and white picture and the leaves of the flowers.
I also cut out the same word several times in order to create a mat for my picture. I then used watercolors to paint it, so to match the other colors in the collection.
Some thread, mist and enamel dots finished the layout.
I hope you liked it and enjoyed reading about my process. Check out the Sahin Designs store for this and many other fabulous collections.
Until next time.
