Hey everyone, Erica here with some fun ideas on how to document without journaling. The past week I participated in the popular Week In the Life. Because I was using a smaller album, 3×8, I didn’t have much space to do journaling and some of the photos didn’t require much else.
The best thing for me to do was to use a lot of the elements included in the collections because just adding one or two word phrases is enough to describe a photo without needing to write a lot or at all.
The point of week in the life is to document your everyday so I used a lot of elements that stated “Life Right Now” and “Here and Now” because these photos really did describe the right now part of my day. In addition to playing with elements, I also started printing off patterned papers to add my own touch to the album.
Making my own filler cards made putting together my album so much easier because I didn’t have to worry about writing or making sure everything matched. I love flipping through it now because so many of the cards have my own personal touch and its easy to do.
