How to Use Scrapbooking Materials in Your Planner - Sahin Designs

Hello everyone! Since I’m all about trying new things this year, I wanted to try my hand at using a planner. I’ve had a Midori Traveler’s Notebook for a couple of years now but its more for function and less fun. I picked up a Big MAMBI Happy Planner last month and I wanted to experiment and use some of items from the Fearless collection.

I started off by measuring the dimensions of the rectangle, which is about 2.95″ H by 1.95″ W, and printed off a variety of papers, cards, and elements from the collection. The theme of the collection was perfect because life has been less than perfect lately and it serves as a reminder that I am brave, fearless, and strong.

Once I had everything placed and glued down, I could move forward with adding some of my stamps and stickers. I try not to over-embellish my planner with “stuff” because I still need room in order to get everything written down.

My planner is kept in the same format from week to week; the top part is for all work related things, the middle section is for personal, and the bottom is my fitness tracker. Another reason why I loved this collection is because it also focused on being healthy and fit.

Now its time to start writing everything down and as you can see it filled up quickly and I haven’t even reached Tuesday yet.

This was a very fun project and its a great way to use up any of your unused scrapbooking papers or pocket page cards.
