Hello lovelies,
Today I will show you how to use your stash to create cards. During the time as a design team member of Sahin Designs I build up my stash of printed collections. Now I have decided to sort them in new categories and to use my stash. So let’s go!
Until now I sorted my printed collections by collections. All items I didn’t use are collected uncut in a folder. The first step I’ve done is to cut out all these items. If you have them ready you will use them, trust me.
After cutting out all things I sort them by following categories:
- decoration/elements
- pattern paper
- cards with words and phrases
Now you can use your stash like a construction kit. Let me show you some examples:
For example you can use a card with a phrase and decorate it with some of the elements. Finish it with some embellishments and you are ready to go!
Another example is to compine different elements to one and decorate it with some embellishments. This is such an easy and fast step to create a minimal but beautiful card.
Last but not least you can punch some shapes out of the pattern paper and create a background for your card. Compine it with some elements and embellishments and you will have a sweet little gift for a friend.
I hope you had fun and if you have any questions let me know in the comments bellow.
