I love when products can be used for more than one purpose. The Globe Travel Tags in the shop are excellent for their intended purpose, but I wanted to see if I could use them another way as well.
My cousin took my dog for the weekend while we were out of town, and I made her these cookies as a thank you (recipe here). One of the things I love about these tags is they are so easy to customize; instead of including the date you could add another message at the bottom.
I used some elements from the Glitz kit to add to my wrapping, the plaid paper and the round star element. Layer them together, adhere them with my tape runner, and then used a punch to punch right through all three layers, and then the bag. You could change the color scheme easily by using a colored tag, or different paper or a different ribbon, I have a little bit of a ribbon problem, so finding a matching piece of ribbon was easy!
