Hello everyone, happy holidays! I hope your December has been a joyful and fulfilling one. Today I’m sharing with you some sliding Christmas cards I made using the Project Grateful Joy collection.
These are sliding cards and they are lots of fun. When you pull the ribbon on the right side lightly, another card will slide out on the left as well. I learnt this from some Youtube video some years ago and had improvised it a little to make the sliding smoother. You will be able to find many video tutorials on how to make this type of sliding cards if you do a quick search on Youtube.
Each card is made with one cardstock and 3 journaling cards / pattern paper . Some of the journaling cards already have lines on them, which makes perfect writing spot for your greetings inside the card. I then added some other digital elements such as labels, tag and circles.
My favourite card is this one where I cut out the presents and layered them one by one with foam dots. It will be fun if you can tie some twines around the ribbons to add a little extra touch to the cards :)
I then wrote my greetings and mail it off to my friends !
Hope you are inspired to make some cards this Christmas with your digital collections! Once again, happy holidays!
